Seamfix Nigeria Limited is a software company that builds application software and middleware solutions for businesses, governments and institutions. Our corporate slogan is “value innovation powered by technology”. We conduct business by innovating value, empowering our customers to exploit such values through technology, measuring the results and benefits of value to the customer and keeping a smile on their faces!
We build solutions for sectors such as telecommunications, energy, retail and service businesses, universities & colleges, schools, health sector and governments. Our software solutions can be classified into two; application software and middleware solutions. Our application software is sub divided into web application software and standalone application software.

The operations of our businesses are spear headed from West Africa. We have reach in any country we have operations as this enables us offer support services wherever our customers may be.

History

Seamfix Nigeria Limited was founded by four visionary entrepreneurs in 2007, and was incorporated to conduct business in Nigeria that same year. Operations started in Lagos Nigeria and within the first one year of business, Seamfix was able to enjoy support from about five customers including leading banks within Nigeria.

The business was started with about 500 USD and has grown revenue in excess of 3million USD within three years, expanding operations to Abuja (Northern Nigeria) and Enugu (Eastern Nigeria).

2007 – 2008

This period was the early epoch of the organizations business. Working capital started with 500USD and product innovation as well as sales activities commenced with full force. All activities of the business where carried out by the four founding directors. This year marked the beginning of few products like the Orbita® and SchoolOnline® solutions. Strategic partnerships with companies such as eApps, California USA and Sun Microsystems was struck and these enabled us host and deploy solution for customers within this period

Within this period Seamfix was able to build and deploy solutions such as eRegistra® running on Orbita® web application framework (http://portal.jkketc.com) and was able to make an impact in the industry with this product.

2008-2009

This period witnessed tremendous growth and business with banks. The banks were able to notice the power and strength within the organization skill sets and leveraged on it to encourage the powerful CampusManager® solution that has over 7 deployments globally.

This period Seamfix was awarded Sun Microsystems partnership for JAVA™ technologies and enjoyed good customer relationship from two banks in Nigeria.
This year was also a year of web application technology consolidation with the J2EE suite of technologies. More in-house knowledge and innovation across products was developed and in a continuous fashion has been growing over the months. Customers like FCMB, Intercontinental Bank and many others joined the portfolio and this year also marked the beginning of annual application support services.

2009-2010

This period was a year of explosion as revenue within this period financed expansion to two other regions of operation (Northern and Eastern Nigeria). Solutions such as AFIS®, Biocapture®, Biocapture Time & Attendance®, and Vio® came to being. This was a year of tremendous stability and Seamfix was able to partake and win major technology bids within the country. Customers such as Zain Nigeria, Starcomms, Skye bank and State Governments where added to the portfolio and investments in biometrics technology and web applications was made to conquer technologies such as thumbprint segmentations and AJAX.

Seamfix also provided funding for our R&D operations to start in Enugu towards creating an academia to Industry Bridge. The operations involve young programmers in the universities working on research areas under the guidance and direction of industry experts.

Within these years Seamfix has managed to distinguish itself in Software technology delivery and is growing fast to poise as the industry leader in application software and middleware services in West Africa!
