The Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) mandated all operators in Nigeria to register SIM cards before they are purchased. “Know Your Customer” project requires all mobile phone operators in the country to register subscribers. Besides personal information, operators are also required to capture biometric data. The entire technology requirements of this project was project managed and delivered by Seamfix Nigeria Limited onbehalf of airtel in the entire 36 states of the country.
